Our Story
Below is the first post from Facebook when I created my page November 2, 2024... Since then, the Universe and the stars aligned to land us in beautiful Alderson WV and we couldn't be happier to be here! But below is the beginning of our story... and we have just begun!!!
****************
Those that know us... know that our dream is just beginning to come to fruition. Well, to be honest... more my dream that TJ's, but as he says... "Happy Wife... Happy Life!!"
For years...I have wanted move up to the hills of the Appalachia! It was a 5+ year goal... then we took an amazing trip to Upstate NY and breathed in the beautiful woods up there. We both decided that we were going to move our dream up a bit due to how much we enjoyed being out in nature. This past late summer we took a trip out to Lake Tahoe and it was confirmation that we needed to be in the woods... We were looking at a move in a year or so.
Two hurricanes later... we want to be out of Florida by spring.
Our dream is to move somewhere in the Appalachia area... have land, woods, no neighbor's, start our own little homestead and a simpler way of life for the rest of our days...
I dream of having a food truck... to sell my sourdough based goodies to campgrounds, state parks, fairs, schools... TJ can continue with his trade and assist with my new venture...
So... This is the beginning... and I so look forward to the future!
I can hear the gossip at the town meeting... "Ethel!!! Who bought the Anderson's place??? Did you see that car that that redhead drives??? They look like weirdos!!!"to bringing you the same quality and care that we put into every item we make for our own family.
